Consigner management
Maintain comprehensive consigner details, track consignment inventory, and manage terms efficiently.
Follow these sequential steps in EquipRoute to execute your workflow smoothly and keep inventory accurate.
Consigners are external partners, vendors, or individual sellers from whom goods and equipment items are collected for storage, fulfillment, or auction listing. Managing consigner profiles allows your logistics and warehouse teams to maintain clear records of item origins, pickup addresses, and seller contacts.
If your organization is connected with AuctionWorx, consigners are automatically kept up to date across both platforms in real time.
From the main menu, go to Consigners under the Logistics & Transport section. This page serves as a centralized hub to manage, view, edit, and organize all your registered consigners. Click on the New Consigner button at the top of the page to open the consigner creation form.

Fill in all required consigner information in the registration form:
After filling out the required fields, click the Create button to complete registration. Consigners represent external partners for tracking inventory origin and do not receive system login credentials.

When booking a new consignment pickup, the newly created (or updated) consigner will automatically appear in the Consigner selection field. Select the consigner to associate their profile and pickup address directly with the pickup job.

Clear answers on how this feature integrates into your daily equipment workflow.
No. A consigner is an external partner record. You store their contact and pickup address so pickups and item origin stay documented. They never receive credentials.
The pickup job needs a known origin. Once the profile exists, you select it when booking. Contact details and the pickup address travel with the job.
Consigner records are bi-directionally synchronized between EquipRoute and AuctionWorx, ensuring your auction listings and warehouse receiving always refer to the same seller profiles.
